Petrarch - The Perfect PAideia Student - Part 2
In this episode we brainstorm how to represent the characteristics visually and come up with some really cool ideas. We also discuss what style we will use for this painting.
Rembrandt meets David Leffel
This is a very challenging project!
Some of the ideas so far:
- Loves the Lord - He will be reading an open Bible
- Loves his parents - Will have a family crest on the wall
- Joyful and encouraging - Use of light in painting
- Helpful - maybe use a baby toy to represent him helping with his baby sister or have him explaining what he is reading in the bible to his little sister…
- Respectful - Using symbols in the Family Crest
- Displays Decorum - Have a window with friends playing outside while he talks with his sister. Choosing to make sharing Gods word with his sister of higher importance than himself having fun with his friends.
Remember, the painting must be complete by January 12th!!!! Can we do it? Stay tuned to find out!
